Dr Bianca Denny

Bianca is a clinical psychologist based in Ivanhoe (Melbourne). She has over 15 years’ experience providing psychotherapy to adults presenting with concerns related to low ood, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and personality disorders. She has a special interest in working with individuals experiencing psychological distress associated with chronic illness and acute injury.
 
She is trained in several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), interpersonal psychology, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and schema therapy. She adopts a relational perspective in her therapeutic work.
 Bianca is also a board-approved supervisor, providing supervision to psychologists and other allied health professionals. Supervision is provided to psychologists at all levels of training and practice, including general psychologists seeking clinical endorsement and those completing AHPRA-mandated supervision.

Bianca writes widely for both academia and mainstream media on topics related to mental health, mental illness, psychology, and therapy. She has authored two books and co-authored several book chapters. Her research interests include diagnosis of psychiatric disorders, training and wellbeing of health professionals, and resilience.

- Fellow, APS College of Clinical Psychology.
- AHPRA accredited supervisor (provisional psychologists, registered psychologists, clinical registrar program, and AHPRA mandated supervision).
- Registered with Medicare to provide clinical psychology services.
- Registered with Medicare to provide Non-Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling Services.
- Registered to provide services to Medicare, WorkCover, TAC, and private health fund clients.

- NDIS psychology services.
- Diagnostic assessment or treatment/coaching for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
